Ostapenko vs Suarez Navarro 2016 Qatar Total Open Finals Betting Odds & Prediction

It’s on to the Finals of the Qatar Total Open and I will take a look at the match between Jelena Ostapenko and Carla Suarez Navarro. According to the Ostapenko vs Suarez Navarro 2016 Qatar Total Open Finals Betting Odds at Bodog Tennis, Suarez Navarro has been listed as as -260 favorite over the underdog Ostapenko (+207). Here is a look at my Ostapenko vs Suarez Navarro 2016 Qatar Total Open Finals Betting Odds & Prediction.

Head-to-Head: The two women have once in their careers and that was one the grass courts of Wimbledon last year in the first round, which Jelena Ostapenko won 6-2 6-0.

Jelena Ostapenko comes in as the 88th player in the world and she has had quite a week in beating Zarina Diyas in straight sets, 21st ranked Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets, 8th ranked Petra Kvitova in three sets, Saisai Zheng in straight sets and 27th ranked Andrea Petkovic, who had to retire. She got past three player ranked in the top 27 in the world. She has not had a good start to here year as she came in off of not even qualifying for Dubai last week, but she has made up for it this week so far. She has guaranteed a spot for herself in the top 50 in the world by making the biggest final of her career.

Carla Suarez Navarro comes in ranked 11th in the world and she has not had a bad year so far as she was a semifinalist in Brisbane and a quarterfinalist at the Australian Open, but she also lost in the first round to Caroline Garcia at Dubai last week. Carla got to this point with wins over Donna Vekic, Timea Bacsinszky, Elena Vesina and 3rd ranked Agnieszka Radwanska all in straight sets. The win over Radwanska was a big one for her as she got revenge for a loss she suffered to her at the Australian open.

I will go with Navarro as she looks to end the impressive week that Jelena had. Carla comes in off a very impressive 6-2 6-0 win over Radwanska and she is just playing too well to fall to the younger challenger, who has played a bit over her head this week. I look for Navarro to get revenge for the loss at Wimbledon in straight sets.
