Strycova vs Errani 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Finals Betting Odds & Prediction

It’s on to the finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and I will take a look at the match between Barbora Strycova and Sara Errani. According to the Strycova vs Errani 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Finals Betting Odds at Bodog Tennis, Errani has been listed as as -120 favorite over the underdog Strycova (-110). Here is a look at my Strycova vs Errani 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Finals Betting Odds & Prediction.

Head-to-Head: The two women have met six times in their careers and Sara holds the 5-1 edge. The last time they met was at Eastbourne last year and Sara won in three sets. It was the only match between the two that went three sets.

Barbora Strycova comes in as the 47th ranked player in the world and will be playing in her very first WTA Premier final. Strycova has has just one title in her career and that was at the ITF level where she won the Quebec City title in 2011.  She also has been a runner-up in Prague in 2010, Palermo in 2012 and Birmingham and Luxembourg in 2014. Strycovao made it to the finals by beating Tsvetana Pironkova, Julia Goerges, Ana Ivanovic and Caroline Garcia.

Sara Errani comes in as the 22nd ranked player in the world and will also be seeking her first career title at the WTA level. Errani does have 8 ITF titles in her career. She does have experience at this event as she made it to the finals back in 2013. She lost to Petra Kvitova in that match. She made it to the finals here by beating Zheng Saisai,  Yaroslava Shvedova, Madison Brengle and Elina Svitolina.

This one is actually tough to call. Sara has dominated this series and while she struggled in last year’s match let’s note that it was on grass, which is Strycova’s best surface, but we also note that Errani has been playing doubles in this tournament as well and may be a bit tired. Still I can see Sara winning this one as she has the experience and has a big edge on the hard court, but I also see it going the full three sets.
